“Port O.Bristol”  by Xisto Wines

We solely import Portuguese wines from small artisan producers that put 100% of their skill and passion into making wines that reflect the varietals and terrior of Portugal. (All use) Using biodynamic, organic and minimal intervention practises.  We continue the winemakers love and respect for our planet by continuing the journey fossil fuel free. Using the power of the wind to sail the wine from Porto to Bristol on sail ships. Real sustainability delivered into the heart of Bristol. Working outside the standard industry practices…. Reducing or eliminating completely  the norma uses of … airplane /kerosene. lorry/ diesel, & shipping containers/bunker fuel. We strive to make the journeys to and from the ports as carbon negative as possible. Xisto Wines pioneering work under the flag of PORT O’BRISTOL has  re-established  wine importation fossil fuel free along the original sea trading routes.   We strive to be the most sustainable wine importers from vineyard to table to make our wines as good as local. “Made by Rebels , Shipped by Pirates, Drunk by Heroes”

Déjà Bu Wines

Founded in 2019, Déjà Bu Wines is a Burgundy wine specialist selling a carefully selected organic and biodynamic wine range with a focus on lesser-known appellations. From the new generation of Burgundy winemakers, Déjà Bu’s wines cater for a new generation of Burgundy wine drinkers: those of us looking for real, unstuffy, terroir-driven wines we can afford. We work with artisan vignerons whose dedication and love for their work shine through the wine they are producing. We are very proud to be representing what they do with such passion, and to be sharing the delicious wines they make with the trade in the UK. There is a special place for Bourgogne Aligoté within Déjà Bu range – I believe this once neglected white grape Burgundian deserves front row placing. Looked after well, Bourgogne Aligoté vineyards produce grapes capable of anything… achieving big things!

 Spiegel & Peach

We’re a brand new Bristol based importer and wholesaler, created to service the Bristol inde- pendent trade and add a bit of interest to wine lists. Our wines are made in family wineries, with minimal intervention, and are selected to be accessible in style and price. We like to focus on the lesser seen wine regions which offer great value and interesting terroir. We also focus on indigenous grapes, so expect to find a wide variety in our list! We know times are tough and that’s why we are starting now – sensibly priced wines are crucial at the moment, as is flexibility of service. As we’re just starting out, our range is small, but we think there is something for everyone within it. Watch this space for more producers and more regions in future.
