Alongside the WSTA's core member services, we also work with other third-party service providers to bring members a full range of business services.

To take advantage of any of these offers, members should navigate to the Resources Hub. You will need your WSTA membership number when enquiring with any of these providers.

Accounting & Finance:

Menzies Brighter Thinking offers WSTA members a discount on accounting and finance expertise in specific sectors including Hospitality & Leisure, Retail & Wholesale and Transport & Logistic. Services include audit, accounting, business regulation, management information, taxation and strategic advisory services. Conditions apply.

Business Insurance:

Leading independent insurance brokers and risk managers Sutton Winson specialise in the wine and spirits trade. They have developed a dedicated microsite that is being regularly updated to provide information and guidance for various types of business insurance. 

Forensic Services:

The Forensic Services Team at Crowe UK offers specialist services to help organisations protect themselves against a variety of problems such as cybercrime, fraud, bribery and corruption. Where necessary, Crowe can also help respond, manage and mitigate any incidents that may have already occurred

Fraud Reporting:

The NBCS offers a reporting service via an app. This allows participating businesses to contribute a significant amount of data. NBCS’s analysts then join the dots and liaise with police forces and law enforcement agencies to act against criminal gangs.  

We encourage members to sign up the app to report suspected fraud. This is free to members.

HR, Health & Safety:

Citation offers a discount on bespoke advice and support functions for their health & safety and employment law & HR services. Services include a 24 hour helpline, online support, ISO certification, formulation and supply of policy documentation and procedures and regular updates and support. 

Intellectual Property:

Sonder IP are an Intellectual Property specialists providing expert trade mark, design and copyright services to start-ups, SMEs and global brands at a fixed transparent price. One-off services, such as trade mark registration, to long-term strategic IP portfolio management. 

IP Audit:

The IP audit service identifies key opportunities to help businesses achieve long-term business success. The audit will help to understand the value of intellectual property, identify any weaknesses, risks, potential cost savings and exploit Intellectual Property to maximise its value within the business. WSTA members receive a discount.

Legal Advice Line:

Arranged by the WSTA with TLT, members are offered a free advice line for employment, contract and commercial law issues with access to qualified legal and employment experts. 

Resourcing:

Evenbreak helps inclusive employers attract talented disabled candidates through a specialist job board (www.evenbreak.co.uk) and helps all their staff feel confident around disability through an online Best Practice Portal. WSTA members receive a 10% discount. 

R&D Tax Relief:

Any company that resolves difficulties or challenges and applies technology or science to do so should consider R&D tax relief, whether they undertake the work on their own behalf or on behalf of others. This includes businesses developing new or improved products, processes, services or systems.

Training:

ASA offer an online training module specifically tailored to advertising for the alcohol industry. A ‘business licence’ covers 10 or more users. WSTA members will receive a 15% discount. 

Training:

Be Inclusive Hospitality offer both in-person and online training specialising in race. Workshops include Talking About Race, Allyship and Inclusive Leadership. WSTA members will receive a 10% discount.

Training:

The BBG provides a training course for direct suppliers to supermarkets on the Groceries Supply Code of Practice and Groceries Code Adjudicator. WSTA members receive a discount
