This webinar is another in the series of events offered to the WSTA by HMRC.

 

This will look at transit procedures, which some exporters (in either direction) may find easier to enable the smooth flow of goods through a port.  Some national authorities prefer to see transit being used for the same reasons.

 

The webinar will cover:

 

  • the basic principles
  • Offices of Departure, Transit and Destination
  • the role of Authorised Consignors and Consignees
  • the Transit Accompanying Document
  • export declarations and Safety and Security Declarations
  • the relationship with CHIEF/CDS and GVMS
  • common problems
