We are pleased to invite you to an exclusive press lunch tasting to discover the wines of Famiglia Casadei, a family-led group of estates dedicated to terroir-driven winemaking and holistic sustainability, between Tuscany and Sardinia.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 26, at noon at DOPPO Restaurant, Soho.
Elena Casadei will personally guide a tasting of a curated selection of the family’s most representative wines, including amphora-fermented expressions, alongside wines from Tuscany and Sardinia. The tasting will explore themes of terroir, minimal intervention, the biointegrale approach, and the role of amphorae as a contemporary cultural statement in wine.
This will be an intimate opportunity to engage directly with the producer, exchange ideas, and experience the wines in dialogue with seasonal Italian cuisine.
Famiglia Casadei is a family-led group of estates located across Tuscany and Sardinia, united by a shared vision of terroir-driven winemaking and holistic sustainability. From Chianti Rufina to Alta Maremma, Sardinia, and the Casentino, each estate reflects its own landscape and microclimate. The family’s philosophy, known as Bio Integrale®, goes beyond organic farming to embrace biodiversity, ethical agriculture, and long-term environmental balance. New approaches are found through projects such as Le Anfore di Elena Casadei, exploring amphora fermentation as a contemporary cultural expression.
Their estates showcase beautiful expressions of different wine areas of Italy:
Castello del Trebbio (Chianti Rufina)
Terre di Romena (Casentino – Arezzo)
Tenuta Casadei (Suvereto)
Olianas ( Sardinia)
