Policy, networking and supporting your business

This event is to support WSTA members in understanding and addressing the environmental challenges facing the alcohol industry – clarify what the government expects of businesses and when; identify the most immediate environmental challenges facing WSTA members; and facilitate peer-to-peer learning across the supply chain. It is also important for strengthening the collective voice of the sector as we engage with government to develop environmental policies that work in practice as well as on paper.

Thank you to our events sponsor HillebrandGori.

“One of the most important topics the industry faces right now is sustainability. The UK is the fifth largest wine consuming country in the world and the second largest importer, meaning the scope to reduce emissions in this industry’s freight transport is significant.

Through our GoGreen solution we can work with any shipper of alcohol, to reduce their transport related emissions. From uncovering the amount of emissions associated with their shipments, to implementing carbon reduction levers to reduce them.  We can even offer a fuel switch to truly decarbonize the supply chain.

Our partnership with the WSTA aids our efforts in promoting sustainable logistics in the UK drinks trade but also allows us to support valuable programs such as the Indie scheme. Together, we can do so much more!”
