Jonathon Porritt, Founder Director of Forum for the Future, has been on the front line of environmental campaigning for more than 45 years. He’s been a member of the Green Party throughout that time, and has worked tirelessly to promote the solutions to today’s converging environmental crises – including as Director of Friends of the Earth (1980s), Chair of the UK Sustainable Development Commission (2000-2009), and Chancellor of Keele University (2012-2022). He is Co-Founder of Forum for the Future – the UK’s leading sustainable development charity – President of Population Matters and The Conservation Volunteers, and Patron of many campaigning organisations. His work as author and broadcaster has had a huge impact over the years. His latest book, ‘Hope in Hell’, a powerful call to action on the Climate Emergency, was published in June 2020.
Event ethos & objective
We know our industry is always facing challenges as well as new opportunities. After the two years of uncertainty, with virtual meetings/events becoming more popular, to hybrid being the new norm, we look forward to coming together and seeing what the future brings to our industry.
At the WSTA Industry GetTogether, we provide that platform – an opportunity for all to come together for an evening, to discuss key industry topics and see what the future of our industry could be!
The event, previously named, WSTA Industry Summit has established itself as the key wine and spirit industry event and provides an opportunity for those in the industry to gain focused access to a highly influential group of speakers covering relevant and topical information that directly affects wine and spirit businesses.
What can the WSTA Industry GetTogether provide for sponsors?
Reach an expected target audience of over 200 attendees from UK businesses and meet key decision-makers!
We don’t offer the out-of-the-box sponsorship packages as we don’t believe that sponsorship is “one-size-fits-all”. Instead, we offer a range of options and opportunities for sponsors to promote their business to a large target audience. We’re also open to suggestions and ideas from our sponsors as to what other opportunities we could provide them with, so contact the event organiser Samantha Ferreira Cardoso, samantha@wsta.co.uk, to find out more or download our sponsorship opportunities pack.
