PPWR begins to apply from 12 August 2026, bringing new requirements for businesses placing packaged products on the EU market and relevant requirements in Northern Ireland. Businesses should now be reviewing their packaging, engaging with suppliers and preparing the Declarations of Conformity and supporting technical documentation required to demonstrate compliance.
