The UK has been reviewing the current grace period for Certificates of Inspection for organic products imported from the EU, EEA and Switzerland, which is due to expire on 1 February 2027.

We understand that Defra plan to extend the waiver until the planned UK-EU SPS agreement enters into force, meaning COIs would continue not to be required for imports from EU, EEA and Switzerland.
