WTAF? It’s time for the wine industry to take an alternative approach to packaging.

Wine Traders for Alternative Formats! An alliance of sustainable wine companies forms to help reduce the carbon footprint of the wine industry.

It is an open secret in the wine industry that the only way to make a significant step towards sustainability in wine is to move away from glass bottles. Until recently, there wasn’t anything being done about it, so a group of like-minded wine brands have formed an alliance to help reduce the industry’s carbon footprint and are kicking things off with a Trade & Press Tasting, timed to coincide with COP26 on the 11th November 2021.

The aim is to show the breadth and quality of the UK’s leading alternatively packaged wines and that genuine alternatives to bottles do now exist.

PLEASE NOTE – Launch event is strictly by invitation only, email oliver.lea@bibwine.co.uk for more info on attendance and to request a Press Release.

WTAF founding members are
BIB Wine, Canned Wine Co, Copper Crew, Graft Wine Company, More Wine and When in Rome Wine.
