Perfect for anybody in the wine trade who is interested in Bordeaux and keen to delve further into the well-know region of the Médoc, this 1hr 15 mins masterclass, hosted by École du Vin de Bordeaux tutor Mike Turner, is a must-attend tasting for sommeliers, sales, merchants and négociants.

You will learn about what the future holds for the region, and how winemakers are adapting and innovating in the face of changes to grape varieties, the climate and technology. Tasting through the region, you’ll have the opportunity to explore biodynamics, ancient grape varieties, blends and explore how technology is continually improving winemaking – from sorting, plot selection, blending and vinification.

The tasting will include 8 flagship examples of their style from the region including a Cru Artisan, a Cru Bourgeois and even a Grand Cru Classé.
