Gold Awards and Graduation Ceremony

We are very excited to present our annual Hospitality Award!

The aim of the award is to recognise all aspects of the on-trade and off-trade, while also highlighting the value of the professionals behind a wine list.

Awards will be given not only to sommeliers but also to wine buyers, importers, brand ambassadors, restaurateurs, and wine journalists.

Additionally, we will recognise the best wine lists across various establishments.

The list of deserving candidates will be voted on by the industry, with the voting process running from now until the week before the event.

On the same day, there will be a walkaround tasting featuring our sponsors (producers and importers) as well as three masterclasses scheduled for the late morning and afternoon.

Following the Gold Awards, the 2023/24 sommelier course students will receive their diplomas and tastevins.

15:00 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo a Great Italian Red Wine – Exploring the diverse expressions of one of Italy’s most beloved red wines with Jacopo Mazzeo.

17:30 Château Haut–Batailley Vertical tasting – A unique exploration of the nuanced vintages of one of Bordeaux’s most exceptional wines with Julien Galland Technical manager of Château Haut-Batailley and Pierre-Louis Araud Sales and Marketing Director of Château Haut-Batailley.
