Join award-winning wine educator Adam Porter MW
on Wednesday 22nd March in Manchester and on Wednesday 29th March in Edinburgh for a Ribera del Duero masterclass where you will uncover the secrets of this incredible region.
A masterclass that shouldn’t be missed
Dubbed as “a wine region to watch” by Tim Atkin MW, Ribera del Duero is located in Castilla y León, north of Madrid, and is the cradle of many of Spain’s most sought-after and applauded wines.
This March, let award-winning educator, judge and consultant Adam Porter MW guide you through the styles, varieties, terroirs and producers of this historic land at one of two dedicated masterclasses.
During the session you’ll explore the unique attributes of the region, learning about some of the oldest vines and highest vineyards in Europe, as well as their impressive mosaic of soil types and aspects. You’ll also be discussing the current challenges and the modern techniques employed to produce the range of styles and price points available.
In addition to learning all about the region itself, you’ll also be tasting through a selection of 8 wines, ranging from Jovenes to Grandes Reservas, chosen to highlight the variety of styles on offer from Ribera Del Duero’s growing list of talented producers.
