Penny Streeter acquired Leonardslee in 2017 and reopened if after two years of intensive restoration work, following eight years’ closure and neglect. Leonardslee features the first commercial planting of Pinotage in the UK. Attractions include wine tastings and tours – including of the 15-hectare vineyard at Mannings Golf and Wine Estate, just three miles away and also owned by Penny Streeter.
The Anton Smit Sculpture Park at Leonardslee is almost three years in the making and will be the largest of its kind in Europe this year.
