Following the success of last year’s inaugural Independents’ Day Trade & Press Tasting, this autumn Yapp Brothers and Clark Foyster are delighted to be joined by Astrum Wine Cellars—one of the UK’s leading specialist Italian importers.

Astrum needs little introduction, Italian focused, proud Piedmont specialists, with a portfolio that spans some of Italy’s most sought after agencies, such as Produttori del Barbaresco and Cantina Terlano, alongside hidden gems and rising stars from every corner of the country. In recent years, they’ve expanded their French offering too and continue to champion quality first producers from across Europe and beyond. Their exceptional and highly complementary range aligns perfectly with the Independents’ Day ethos: placing Authenticity, Character, and Expression above all else..

Clark Foyster will showcase their impressive range, specialising in meticulously selected wines from artisan wineries in Austria, Georgia, Greece, Portugal and Australia. Stars include Estate Argyros (Greece), Schloss Gobelsburg (Austria), Filipa Pato (Portugal) and Mac Forbes (Australia). Yapp Brothers will pour a diverse selection spanning the Rhône, Languedoc, Provence, Loire and beyond, including offerings from the likes of Jean-Louis Chave, Domaine Clape, Grange des Pères, Domaine Alain Graillot and Domaine Vernay.
