Join us at Sager + Wilde on Paradise Row on 22nd January to take a deep dive into Bulgaria’s Thracian Lowlands whilst guided through 10 producers iconic wines!
Two sessions available;
Morning Masterclass: 10.30am – 12.00pm
Afternoon Masterclass: 1pm – 2.30pm
The ancient Thrace culture dates back over 6000 years and together with Svet Manolev MS, we are taking a deep dive into Bulgaria’s viticultural landscape; discussing how the decades of tumultuous history, phylloxera, and state ownership affected the now thriving wine industry.
You’ll be guided through 10 iconic wines, including indigenous varieties such as; Mavrud, Rubin, Vrachanski Misket and Tamyanka, which are grown alongside the likes of Cabernet, Syrah and Sangiovese.
