Bourgogne Wines – Off the beaten track

A top wine-tasting showcasing the best Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne and Mâcon plus geographical denomination, Chablis and Petit Chablis have to offer, with an emphasis on their stunning and unique terroirs.

Travel off the beaten tracks of Bourgogne and discover some of the lesser-known appellations of Bourgogne and Mâcon plus geographical denomination. A new generation of winemakers are leading the way in these dynamic appellations, for example Bourgogne Chitry and Mâcon-Cruzille, to create exciting wines from great quality terroirs within a budget-friendly price range.

Visitors will be able to taste for themselves the many faces of Bourgogne Aligoté. Keen wine lovers will already know: from plot selection to ageing in oak, the Bourgogne Aligoté appellation offers a wealth of expressions to discover.

Finally, a trip to Bourgogne simply wouldn’t be complete without a tasting of some of the iconic Chablis wines of the region. With a focus on the Chablis and Petit Chablis appellations, find out something new about these appellations with an in-depth focus on its contrasting terroirs. Learn what makes each appellation totally unique in itself, whether it’s the plateaux of Petit Chablis and its Portlandian heritage, or the Kimmeridgian history of Chablis demonstrated through its vast amount of fossils.
