This intimate virtual tasting session hosted by an Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux Tutor will introduce you to key characteristics of various distinctive Bordeaux appellations.
After a brief introduction to Bordeaux, its history, terroir and grapes, you’ll be invited to participate in a blind tasting, matching 6 wines to 6 Bordeaux appellations, using the blind wine tasting kit and software that we’ll share with you. It’s set to be a fun and informative tasting of Bordeaux wines that’ll help expand your knowledge, and appreciate the intricacies that grapes, climate, soils and vinification techniques can have on a wine.
We are running 3 identical sessions of 25 people, which will run for 1 hour via Zoom on:
- Tuesday 2nd November 6-7:15pm
- Wednesday 3rd November 4-5:15pm
- Tuesday 9th November 4-5:15pm
Please register your date preference(s) within the order form, but please note that registering is an expression of interest. We will do our best to allocate sessions based on your preferences, and once registration has closed we will be in touch via email confirming your space, wine arrival and the zoom link.
Whether you are an independent wine merchant, a sommelier or work in wine sales, we’d love you to join us. If you have any questions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
*Please note this is a wine trade only event.
