Wine Communications is delighted to announce its inaugural event ‘Blue of the Danube’, the largest UK tasting dedicated to the most important black grape of Central & Eastern Europe (CEE)– Blaufränkisch, known also as Kékfrankos, Frankovka Modra, Frankovka, Burgund Mare and Lemberger.

It will be the second time the UK wine trade has had the opportunity to taste and get to know the grape variety in such a high diversity, all under one roof. Blaufränkisch, is known as the ‘blue grape of the Danube’.

Join the winemakers for a walk-around tasting from more than 40 of the finest producers showing a wide range of Blaufränkisch from Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, and Slovenia.
