Best UK Sommelier 2023 / Villa Sandi Award / Walkaround Tasting / Graduation Ceremony

On Monday 12th of June, we will gather all our members and friends to celebrate the art and skills of sommeliers and the diverse and rich world of wines. The event aims to showcase the talent of some of the best and most knowledgeable sommeliers in the UK and provide an opportunity for attendees to sample a variety of wines from around the world.
The competition will see three semifinalists on stage, battling for the title. The sommeliers will go through a series of rigorous challenges that will test their knowledge of wine, their tasting and food pairing abilities, their service elegance and their communication skills. Judges will scrutinise every detail, keeping a watchful eye on each contestant’s professionalism.
Throughout the event, our guests will also have the chance to participate in masterclasses and seminars led by wine personalities. These classes are an excellent opportunity to learn from the experts and deepen your knowledge and understanding of wine areas and grape varieties.
The UK Bartender Guild will be with us, showcasing their talent in creating unique cocktails and providing educational workshops and skill demonstrations.
The Graduation Ceremony of our students during the late afternoon will be the culmination of a very exciting day.
The Best UK Sommelier – Villa Sandi Award and walkaround tasting is a fantastic experience for all attendees.
