Australian Shiraz is changing. While this iconic Australian stalwart is one of the country’s biggest exports and an international success, the fact that variety and resulting styles are evolving and diversifying remains little talked about. Changes in viticulture, winemaking and a focus on regional expression in Australia are fundamentally changing Shiraz as we know it.
We have grouped together three internationally acclaimed experts to put these new styles of Shiraz under the microscope and demystify the changes taking place within the world of Shiraz winemaking through a tasting of some of Australia’s most renowned Shiraz producers.
