The UK Wine and Spirit Trade

In focus...

A new brochure designed to highlight the economic importance and complexity of the UK’s wine and spirit trade has been published.

The WSTA has created the ‘go to guide’ for the industry to use as a tool to help policy makers and politicians better understand the UK’s dynamic wine and spirit market.

The publication – entitled “The UK Wine and Spirit Trade In Focus” – is designed to help bring to life the value of the sector as we run into, what is going to be, a crucial Autumn Budget for the trade.

The people...

As part of the WSTA’s mission to educate policy makers using our new industry manual, The Wine and Spirit Trade in Focus, we are launching a series of video portraits hearing first hand from members about different jobs that make up the UK wine and spirit sector.

The booklet and portrait profiles have been created to give a rich, visual overview of the size, value and complexity of the wine and spirits sector, shinning a spotlight on the importance of the jobs our industry brings to the UK.

In these interviews we aim to highlight the exciting opportunities for people who want to work in our sector, exploring the depth of the industry from producers, importers, exporters, retailers and the diverse jobs found throughout the supply chain.
