We source wines from partner wineries across Europe, create and build our own brands, or act as agents supplying all the major retailers in the UK and a variety of distributors worldwide.

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and capable International Sales Support Executive to join this team to help grow the business even further, focussing on our non-UK clients.

You will work supporting our International Sales team, in a rewarding and varied commercial administration role.

We are looking for a candidate who has a positive and proactive approach and enjoys working flexibly and under their own initiative, within a small team. You will help to implement our strategy to develop GAW’s substantial and growing export business.

The Job:

  • You will relish a broad and varied role that requires flexibility and the ability to adapt constantly.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the sales team for all key international client accounts.
  • Processing and tracking orders.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with new and current customer, supplier and transporter contacts.
  • Communicating effectively and accurately by email and phone with client and supplier partners worldwide.
  • Ongoing product management (product specifications, vintage changes, artwork approval, liaison with designers for label artwork & ensuring wine labels meet legal requirements for different markets).
  • Completing new tender forms when requested and organising samples for clients.
  • Providing holiday cover for other members of staff where necessary.

Qualitifications

WSET qualifications would be an advantage

Preferred Skills

About you: • You’ll ideally have a minimum of 2 years Sales Support experience within a competitive commercial environment • Experience of dealing with international clients and suppliers • Interest in and enthusiasm for wine is desirable. • Enjoy working collaboratively with everyone in a small team • Happy to juggle varied administrative duties, you’re able to multi-task, prioritiseand manage time effectively • Used to dealing positively with a variety of clients, suppliers, designers and agencies • Articulate and presentable with a strong work ethic and upbeat attitude • Computer literate with particular proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint • You’re bright and enthusiastic with great attention to detail and a real ‘can-do’ attitude, driven to achieve for yourself and the company What we can offer you: • Belong to a supportive, close-knit team • Benefit from a competitive salary • Company BUPA • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays • Learning and Development opportunities
